Banana PiBPI-M2S采用的A311D是一款12nm工藝低功耗，高性能處理器，適用于計算，個人移動互聯網設備和其他智能設備應用。它基于大小核架構，將雙核Cortex-A73和四核Cortex-A53與算例5.0T的NPU處理器集成在一起。采用了該芯片的A311D主板方案，對比市面常見的四核方案，在性能上有質的飛躍，能夠播放各種格式高清視頻HDM可輸出4K*2K/60幀視頻，能處理深度學習等復雜的互動操作。
BPI-M2S與Banana Pi BPI-M2+和Banana Pi BPI-M2 Pro的尺寸大小相同。
